Do you pass trucks governed 1mph less than you?

Only if there is a Schneider & Swift next to me on the right.
& only during a curve with jutted out walls on both sides. Yelling in a bad fake Brooklyn accent.

Haven't seen them too much out here in the desert on the 10

 

I drive a triple digit truck, I run 64 because that is the sweet spot that gives me over 8 mpg with 40,000 in the box. F U , I ain't slowing down for your dumb ### when you try to pass me in your 64.5 mph truck. I really don't give a darn how much traffic your stupid butt stacks up.

When I come up on you, I hammer it and get it done, then resume my plodding along.

Nobody ever takes six minutes to pass me. Ever.

Even now in an ungoverned truck I have the common courtesy and common sense to back off a couple of miles an hour, let them complete the pass, AND allow them to get ahead at least six seconds before resuming my cruise control speed. So WHAT if they cause me to slow it down for a mile or two? The point is that overall they are running faster than I either choose or can run.

Let them run. Maintain my space. Allow traffic to flow around me. NOTHING else matters.

 

Cruise control brother, it's way better at saving fuel than I ever was.
