How in the world did you make 60k your first year with TMC? My son is a rookie and is barely making an annualized rate of 30K/year. His record is good, he's playing by the rules, is not a complainer but he's starving.

 

they say the fun starts at 50--I'm a starting over with 3 nickels a rubbin together.
my story went with starvation local driving for the last nine months, just now getting a 19./hr job delivering generators in so cal. 2 weeks now.
to start out over th' road solo, you need 5.00/hr while you're in the truck AND mileage. it's just not worth it otherwise....and nobody pays that. My training drought is over!

I have a friend who has his own company, he has four trucks and runs intermodel in about six states. He tells me on average a truck will gross around One hundred thousand a year, he pays forty percent. I believe that if you run harder, you could do better. They don't run all that hard, they are home daily. dirve55cat
