Understand where you are coming from but Let me re-word mndriver. I know HOW to use it in the sense of inputting formulas and all that jazz; just never used it for business/ trucking purposes. Did plenty of assignments for school using excel but in regards to trucking and what to put in excel THAT is what i dont know what to do.. Thats why i asked for a template of some sort.. I have my numbers in my brain and on paper when the brain fails and ive been told excel is used by alot of o/o 's and been mentioned on here so id like to give it a shot.. Make sense?

    Yeah it makes sense.

So then get "business accounting for dummies"

    http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/small-business-financial-management-kit-for-dummie.html

The biggest thing I use is the income statement or "Profit and Loss" statement or "P&L" Depends on who you talk to.

You can make it as complicated or as easy as you want it to.

Just remember to stick to this (yours, not mine attached here) budget and don't go hogwild. If it's not in the budget, don't buy it.

    This is what I use.
