    Never forget it. Back in '91, I was poppin' my cherry with JB Hunt, and took my first solo load from near San Diego to Austin, TX.
    When I arrived in Austin, I needed to stop and take a break, but the weekend dispatched had to have a load taken to El Paso BY MORNING. Needless to say,
    after I delivered, I slept for a while, and it took a couple days for my log book to catch up with me.

    Come to think of it, I barely remember waking up in Arizona after my first night out solo. Hmph.

    I've had some of those "barely remember" situations myself but they didn't come from being on the road too long - at least I don't think so. "If you remember the sixties.....".
