Good point. I told my dispatcher I was going to run legal and not illegal like she was implying. My miles dropped from almost 3000 to about 1200.
Hard to make a living when they are mad at you.
Do you run illegal on your logs?

You should complain to their boss and then if no progress complain higher up. We have a policy for that to protect the driver. that doesn't mean all companies do, but DOT does have that policy. Just prove it it the hard part sometimes
-
and you should come out here and work this job for awhile!
-
I would LOVE to, however I am going to say everyone on the road would be in MAJOR danger! I would be running over 4 wheelers, trash cans, docks, and everything you could imagine, however I would be legal
-
Hey I just wanted to add to another post about the system you run on Qualcom where you work..If its the one that tells you where theyre at so many times an hour, and you compare that print out by the logs, its a good system but very cheatable..Very cheatable..I used to think If a person wants to cheat it, theyll find out how.. And if theres a will theres a way. But I have to tell you Ive never seen anybody that could cheat a computer log..And in the end I believe the whole Industy will be on them one day.. And yea your definately right about the risk on an hour or 2 from home..Ive been lucky hundreds of time throughout my life, and I know it only takes once..
-
And if you think you can cheat my qualcom because it pings you hourly by disconnecting it, you are wrong because once it is connected again it tells the location and once I see a pattern of it then you get terminated for tampering with the qualcom. Trust me we can tell the miles driven from the last ping!
-
Do you think you can really tell how many times we actually turn the key on.

Sounds like A pattern of plausable denial on your part.
Apart from the yes or no horse #### on a dispatch you speak of
I would bet most of your drivers would never say no .
and you will just say you could of said no.
And they will look at you and say yeah and you will look bac and know their lying cuz they cant really say that at a force dispatch enviroment with a big corporate atmosphere.
But hey if you do your job to well youl be out of one logs.
If a carrier wanted there drivers to run 100% compliant and legal they would install tamperproof systems that exist today I dont see any of those in your trucks.
Doing so youd have to give your drivers a raise i dont see that happening either.
Of course im just aggrevating you for fun giving the
alternative perspective so that sooner or later it will sink into your head mayb you wont be so quik to can some one for doing their job of course theyll have another in an hour or so , so why not give them a week off for nothing.

Mayb you are cold mayb you are sympethetic but either way you work for some cheap #######
roses are red violets are blue when will logsrus fire you lol -
OUCH THAT HURT! I am not going into this tonight since I am aggitated anyhow!
I know we are having fun and you are speaking for the drivers.
But we do expect our drivers to run legal! Really and forced dispatch is only if you can do it legally! The operations manager will tell you that and they will fire their dispatcher if they are forcing a driver to run illegal
I am not a cold hearted person by any means, but gosh how much I would love to fire you and hear you say she tried to tell me
-
operations managers except where i work are the biggest bunch of phonys they work they way up to that post by pushing the drivers.

who you foolin with that
Next
I bet you would fire me as a matter of fact i bet alot old places wish they had fired me but for somereason they never did
if you fired me id get a sandwich board sign and stand outside your driveway so everyone would know your great accomplishment.
I wont tell you what the sign would say but it would be
nonetheless
attention grabbing.
Then i would began to panhandle at your place of work ,
Cuz thats what bums do
I would have a beer for you but its not tommarow night yet -
LMAO! Your to funny! So I take it you worked for me at one time
and I didn't get to fire you, darn the luck
Well now what makes you think I would take a beer from a bum? Huh?
Well panhandle outside my work would probably get you somewhere being in my drive way, well you will be as poor as my crack head neighbor across the street (wait he is the dealer/crack head) but you could steal from him like he does us
