Do you think Truck Drivers should be allowed to carry pistols in their trucks?

right i could not. things must be changed since my orientation
i have concealed permit but my company bans weapons in your vehicle on their property. the list of those who dont is probably real short
weyerhauser longview security guards takes trucks checking in aside at random to look in cab. if you had two magazines in your pocket they would not know.
he said he found no weapons but did find some alcohol in a dry van drivers cab.he is also looking for bio hazards

 

My uncle now retired, was the Commander of the State Police and later on was the Police Commissioner for a southern State that I won't name because I don't have his permission to repeat what he said.
He told me they didn't really bother truckers that had hand guns because they know that truckers often have to go into the worst part of whatever town they were in.
Of course this could very by state & officer for that matter.

 

I think open carry should be allowed everywhere including trucks. Having said that though, I don't think everyone should be allowed to carry. Too many idiots. There is no quick or easy solution to the open carry proposition. Basically this country needs to be better educated on guns and gun control as opposed to just banning them. Responsibility should be taught from an early age.
