I learned to appreciate that guy way too late in to my marriage.

 

Get a good dog...well, except for that last part, as it will get you in trouble in most states.

 

The bottom line is this: You're paying freight charges for a trailer with no cargo. Take that trailer to a terminal, drop it off and let another driver take her for a spin. Sounds to me like you're not losing a girlfriend...you're just losing your turn.

 

I remember the advice I got when I was a young Soldier in the Army about this topic. It was you can't turn a ho into a housewife. I think the type woman that can put up with the life of a Soldier is not that different from one who can handle the life of a trucker. I agree you need to drop her like a bad habit, life is way too short to go through crap like that!

Driver, women do not go for looks like guys do. They are totally different. They look at character, intelligence and success. The average woman does not even want a good looking husband, even though they may say they do, as they do not want the competion from other women. Smart woman, not hoes, look for a father for their children. If only guys were that intuitive.

If your girlfriend, I mean the next one, is also not your best friend, run as well. If the one you are going with, does not think you are the greatest guy in the world, keep looking......you have to be able to distinctly see that....no conjecturing or excuse making.

Only 3 things will hold a marriage together, especially today.....Jesus Christ, commitment and trust. No, it is not sex and money.....although God invented both of those as well.
