    Come on Flo... I'm not beating up on him. But the guy is asking a question that he knows how all of us are going to answer. I'd being willing to bet you a box of doughnuts that not ONE guy in this thread is going to tell him, "I really think you should give it some time before you date again." Seriously, he's not a 20 yr. old sorority chick and we're not his sisters with sympathetic shoulders to cry on. He got bucked off the last horse, it's time for him to get back on and ride. Literally. :)

    The woman did you wrong, man. My wondering about her living situation would be me hoping she's sleeping in the park.

    I think you should go on the date but don't take it too seriously and don't build it up in your head. Just try to have fun and make a new friend and realize that it signifies you turning a good corner in your life.

    I stopped reading the replies to this topic but I keep seeing it at the top of the forum page every time I logon. My reply didn't bump this topic since it was already on the top of the list.

    Hey everyone,

    I'm still at a motel, taking it easy. I talked with the landlord and he said that exgf moved her things out! I must say that all of this breaking-up stuff went much better than I had hoped!

    I went out on a date last night...hehehe We had a couple of drinks at a comedy club and had many laughs. Nice girl. We're planning on going out again pretty soon. I'm in no rush to hook up with a girl, just mainly looking for friends.

    I'm still eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of good rest. Life is good :)

    Agreed. I think OP may have been raised by a single mom. Not that there is anything at all wrong with that, but I think a steady diet of John Wayne movies may prove helpful...
