Also be careful with your concoctions, don't forget that stuff also gets on the paint. Some of you company drivers may not care what happens to the paint. But vinegar, dawn dish soap left on the paint will leave streaks in the paint

Company buys a pallet of -32 rated washer fluid every year, I keep my washer bottle full, from time to time I'll also buy the Rain-X Bug Off and add it in there as well, some are rated to -20 some to -32, it seems to help with some of the grime.

I use the rain-x additive year round
I have a SMALL bottle of dawn I keep in the side box.... when I stop at the truckstop to fuel I just run a line of dawn across the spongeCottonmouth85 Thanks this. -

Washer fluid or Windex, it's all the same ingredient that makes it "work". Ammonia.
The problem I find with bugs isn't the fluid, it's the wipers. Unless they are brand new, they don't "scrub" the bugs off like a squeegee brush does. When I was out on the road, my only real solution was just stopping every little bit, when the bugs were bad, at gas stations or truck stops and using the squeegee to clean the windows. -
I've used Windex in a pinch. It will stay liquid to probably about 15-20 degrees. Doesn't work as good as washer fluid though IMO.
