isn't that always a give it even with your car do you always want to check your tires when they're cold?? even if you do it when it's warm and it's off a little bit at least you have a good idea as opposed to just driving down the road at not checking period. usually if I happened to pick up a trailer that I'm curious to know and it's hot outside and I haven't had a chance to check it and I think okay it's 92 degrees outside these tires are warm it showing 94 pounds chances are one it's cold in normal it's probably going to be about 80 lb I compensate. I'm just saying for the ease and convenience what's the difference if you check with the Love's tire pass or you check it yourself you're going to still get the same reading when you stabbed the valve aren't you!? -
This is my 14th year driving a big truck. I've never messed with my tire pressures except first thing in the morning.drvrtech77, COBB2070 and kemosabi49 Thank this.

amen... I put a TPMS on my truck. 6 weeks later I stopped at a rest area for my 30, everything was fine. 20 miles down the road the alarm went off I stopped and that tire was low, filled it up with my glad hand hose. 15 miles later it went off again as I was pulling in the petro. Found a nail. Saving that 1 tire paid for the TPMS

What kind do you have and where did you get it? I'd like one for my truck.

I bought a TST system. I use CatEyes so I only needed six transponders.
TST TST-507-FT-6-C Flow Through Sensor Tire Pressure Monitoring System - Color - 6 Packdrvrtech77, lilillill and flood Thank this. -
Tire pass is a scam. If tire below 85 they will claim they cant inflate it and have to have a technician look at it.
I know for a fact the system can be overridden. Since its based on 20psi gap, all the technician has to do is lower the psi to lets say 85 if your tire is 70 and it will fill it up to 85, then rais the level to 105 and it will fill it up to 105.
I had a bad valve i know was bad but I didn’t want to change it at that time, the guy looked at me as said don’t tell this to no one ill bypass it my response was I know you can bypass it, as i doubt the engineers made a system that cant be bypassed.
Well since you are are not no ones im free to tell it.
$$$$ for them from the steering wheel holders. -
Used it once.
May well use it again.
Any maintenance task I can sub out for five or ten bucks
and have the company pick up the tab is fine by me.
If they vacuumed the interior I'd pay em another 5 for that too.
I'm not proud.JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
I use Loves Tire Pass to check and keep the tires on my 5th wheel travel trailer up to PSI. Being a retired truck driver and now enjoying retirement, my air compressor only goes to 100 PSI and my tire pressure is recommended at 110 PSI it is simple, cheap and smart to have them check and correct them when needed.

Loves would love it here, we only run 80 pounds in our drives and trailer tires, on any truck we run north.
Oxbow Thanks this.
