Still working the kinks out of my commodore 64 to catch up with all these new fangled gadgets:biggrin_25525:

Does seems to be the rage
I have read the re-subscribe rate is very low
And I have noticed the local radio shows have really been working hard at getting people to sign up for alerts
So maybe its here to stay

I don't have anything to twitter about. If I were to twitter, here is what it would look like.

    I'm sitting here, doing nothing.

    Still sitting here, doing nothing.

    Still sitting here. Doing nothing.

    Yawn.

    Oh, look! A bug!

I don't Twitter... and although I once had a Facebook account, I'm not sure it still exists. (Haven't been logged in for ages.) For me, I simply do not have the time nor desire. Why spend time talking about what I've done when I could be doing something else? :biggrin_25520:

I had one of those! Best system I ever had, up until I decided to tear it apart to see how it worked. Whooops.

There is actually a thriving trucking community on twitter. Do a search on twitter for @truckersteve @drivergeoff @eskimosean @Truckertom @texomatic. Look at thier subscribers and you'll find a bunch of other truckers subscribed to them. I am on there as well but not too active anymore. There are at least 500 drivers if you take the time to look for them and begin interacting with them. The Landline Mag editors also have twitter accounts as do a bunch of trucking companies and trucking product sellers. Its a neat service and if you prtect your account, you don't have to worry about spammers and other idiots joining your account to harrass you or anything. you have complete control over who can subscribe to you and who you subscribe to.
