You're just jealous 'cause you don't have any to brush.

Well in dishes I mean pots and pans that need to be rewashed after use. I even have a plastic popcorn popper that works in the microwave that needs to be washed. So do you guys just pour a gallon of water over your dishes while washing with dishwasing liquid and a sponge? I tried that but the soap concentration was too much in my truck. I wish I could get a straight answer.

My wife and I use to cook on the truck when we ran team. When in a pinch we would use the sink at the truck stop but normally we would wait until we got home or to a terminal and then take the dirty pans into the terminal breakroom/kitchen area to wash.

I have seen many drivers over the years washing plastic bowls and utensils in the bathroom sinks. The problem with that is you have higher concentrations of bacteria on the handles and bowls from the people washing their hands after using the facilities.

A better suggestion would be to bring your dishes inside the shower with you when you stop. Put the pots and pans in a large duffel bag and no-one will be the wiser. Clean them in the privacy of the shower room. At least the showers are cleaned after each use (or supposed to be anyway).

I had traumatic experience after seeing some dude wiping up his colostomy bag spill from a bathroom sink. Bathroom sinks are not for touching.

I wash my thermos, and coffee cup out every morning in the coffee area sink. Not too sure about washing dishes. I buy disposable plates, cups, and cheap Tupperware bowls that I eat out of, and throw away. For 4 it's like 1.50. Saves me a lot of time, and hassle.

Thanks guys, but like I said I am not referring to plates and forks, but pots, pans, and a $15 microwaveable popcorn popper thing I bought at walmart that works great. Not even a millionaire would throw them out after every use.

If I owned a truck stop and you came in to wash your dishes, I would not be happy and not allow it.

You cooked your food and chose not to use the restaurant.

Clean your own dishes like you cooked your own food.
