Half of those guys are gross, the other half see you and your ilk hogging the sinks in their peripheral vision and walk out instead of making a scene. Me, I stand there and make eye-contact with each of you. Eventually someone usually lets me wash the excrement from my hands. But I shouldn't have to. There's no reason for you to be hogging the sinks. You can brush your teeth elsewhere.

Washing your dishes in a truck stop bathroom sink??? If any of my dishes even entered a truck stop bathroom, they would go in the trash. That is disgusting.

    This. All of this.

You didn't need to go into the truck stop and use the kitchen stove and cooking utensils to cook your meal, so why rely on them for cleaning up afterwards? If you figured out how to be self sufficient enough to cook food in a truck, you should have no problem figuring out how to be self sufficient enough to clean up afterwards.

Myself, I use Clorox wipes, paper towels, and water. Quick and easy cleanup, and no dragging any dishes into any filthy truck stop.

You can buy one of those portable sinks that are made for camping. I think you fill it with the gallon of water from the truck stop. It has a thing on the side to drain the water after you use it.

You know what I cant stand?

You drivers(especially the new breed)....Parking at the truckstop,Without spending any money.

If You cANNOT afford to eat at the truckstop(Yes they have healthy choices)......Then you are not making enough money, and you need to do somethging about that

Truckstops offer us parking for free.......The Least you guys can do is buy something from them other than fuel.

If you new drivers want to become truckers...Lets get it together and act like truckers.......OK?

Put the frickin bluetooth's down that are cemented to your skulls.......Turn your CB radio on..And start paying attention. Start treating a truckstop like its your home..Cause basically it is while your working...Spend a little TIME with them inside and Have a cup of coffee or 2.........

Your post is interesting, Why can't you stand it?

Most other posters encourage new drivers to cook for themselves, buy as little as possible from truckstops, and don't waste a lot of time at truckstops when you could be driving.

I can afford to eat wherever and whatever I want, and this is because I always insist on value for every dollar I spend. Also, I can probably make myself a better meal. A nice marinated Tbone steak, baked potato, ear of corn - about $12 and much better than TS food.

If the truckstops need to make a grab for more $, I'd rather pay $ for a reserved parking space than have to "contribute" by purchasing overpriced stuff at the store. But, really, if a guy is buying all his fuel at one chain, isn't that enough loyalty to justify free parking?

    You have good Points.......

I guess what Im trying to say is.......I see far too many guys parking in truckstops without contributing, Taking Precious parking for those of us that Really need it.

I guess Im just gettin' too old and cant stand the Change I see...Nothing but Young n Dumb behind the Wheel......I understand Everyone needs to start out, But This is just terrible.

The Point im getting at is This.......If You dont have it in your heart to be a Trucker 110%......Get Out of this industry, They are a high Risk with the "Ahh,I really dont want to drive a truck" mentality

and Yes, I knomaw what Im talking about.

As for the Spending Time and Money in a truckstop...im talking about a real tRUCKSTOP...Not a frickin Pilot or Loves

Care to elaborate on "Real Truckstop"? Those don't exist like they did when my dad drove years ago.

Your logic here isn't very logical. Blame it on the "New Breed" but honestly I see some of the old timers doing as much stupid #### as anyone.
