Probably the same as every other area of trucking. The market (even DOD haulers) flooded in and/or added trucks and now a normal market seems like a scarce market until there’s a herd thinning.

Dod truck load volume was down. That can't be debated. If it felt busier for you during that time frame, that would mean your carrier was awarded more loads than they are now, or had les trucks to spread them out to.

Did I mention you specifically? No, I didn't. Did I criticize you in particular for the type of freight you haul? Again, no.
If what I said didn't apply to you there was no need for you to criticize my post,

The reason DOD loads are down is because we pulled out of Syria and supporting allies there, we are winding down operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Oh and military exercises have been cut across the board. The US and SK used to have some of the largest most intense war games several times a year.

Before calling someone a liar maybe you should dig deeper into those numbers and see what the dollars was spent on.

Edit to clarify. The context is military spending that directly benefits the trucking segment here in the United states. Funding other countries military shows up in total spending in the budget but does jack and #### in thre context of trucking.

But it does, a major portion of funding other countries militaries is purchasing weapons made in the USA and shipping them overseas.

Much of that aid is flown, not shipped by truck.

Don't trucks have to carry to the flyer?
