There's a reason I don't operate anywhere near New York- I hate the east. Anything further then Pennsylvania is too far and I won't do it. Nothing appeals to me about those cities.

Driver, I don't know why it's so hard for you to grasp the fact that in the situation I was in, I was unable to see into the nose of the trailer from the back past the load.DoneYourWay and LaBubba Thank this.
-
he is an EX driver
and yes, pack, you should have those pallets at the nose of the trailer, havent you heard of xray vision? -
Could of maybe asked the guy loading you if they removed them? Or maybe told the office and forklift driver when you arrived that they were to remove the pallets before loading you.

DOT at the cashbox has been going on for a long time in PA and NY. Why do you think so many trucks use the US22 bridge and deal with the traffic instead of i78? Those PUC vans can be sneaky as well. PA has portables and if they have a good idea your over, they'll call someone that has a set if that trooper doesn't. I really don't miss running up there every day.

Guilty as charged. I was actually running through your neck of the woods yesterday, taking the scenic route from Burlington VT to Johnstown. Naturally, avoiding rest areas and all that...Derailed Thanks this.

Never talked to the loader. I backed into the dock. Waited for a green light. Went in got my bills. Pulled out. Shut and sealed the doors.
Drivers weren't allowed on the dock. I couldn't even see the dock area from the office.
And I did tell the office I had pallets for the exchange. -
The trailer was loaded almost to the back but it was a 48' trailer. Still had quite a few of those at Stevens back then lol.

A trailer needs 4 things for me to pull it. 1. Funds agreed. 2. Of legal stature, (lights, mud flaps, plates, tires). 3. Pickup point. 4. A check when I get there. Cash is better. 1/2 on pick up. Questions are extra.
Legal is a moral issue, I'm not In the moral realm. I haul freight.
