I think there on the scales a 300-pound tolerance, which means that you take off 300 pounds from the max weight. They do not calibrate the scales every week here; it is like every couple of months, and with the amount of traffic, it is never 'accurate'.
We had no problems being 500 pounds over on the drives, but if we were on the steers, they would ding us with a ticket or moving a load around.
Does Agricultural exemption allow 34500 on drive axles?

No worries bro. U should be good. I have been over on drives a bunch of times around that weight, i feel as long as ur under gross they dont give a ####. Got bigger fish to fry in my opinion.. even if they write u a ticket it might be like 30 bucks.. and carries no points or punishment whatsoevercke, Accidental Trucker, Sons Hero and 1 other person Thank this.

20 years ago. My ticket was $150 for my trailer weight.

I'd run it but TN scales will create a stink about it, if they are open. Open ones that will care is gonna be Monteagle and Knoxville.
I'm a tanker and Monteagle has held me up before when I'm 34K on drives as the tank surges back and forth. Once on a Sat morning they held me on the scale for almost 5 minutes waiting for it to settle. -
Thats bs they do #### like that.. Meanwhile 35 pounds of meth probably passed by in that time period in some hooptie with half the body panels held on by baling wire and the exhaust pipe one indiana sized pothole away from falling off.... But its all about safety rightJed2009, cke, Opendeckin and 2 others Thank this.
