We need to to know all the stupid ##$% we can the government does in the name of justice. Than you. :biggrin_25514:

The 9th circuit court is great for making distructive decisions to our society, and our country, in the name of freedom and in the name of the consitution.

    Judges gone wild!

By the way in Mexicfornia they have whats called "family court". It's a place where men go to get the shaft. There's little justice there if any. Men rearly if ever get custody of the child.

You are not the first guy I have known in the same scenerio.......as a matter of fact I got a wrong number yesterday and somehow we go to talking...I had recognized his name from HS and well he has been down the same road and is with a local co but they are not runing him enough and they rates are cheep hence a lower pay check.
I talked to him about some local co's that might be good potentials....so that might be an option there for you as the bigger co's will do thoese background checks (so will the small ones prob. ) but with the smaller ones esp if you have a local connection you might stand a better chance of getting out on the road. Good Luck

    Ladies and Gentlemen,
Finally some good news to share. I went on Craigslist. I found a job, not a good one but a job. It was working as a driver and ground man for a tree company. They would cut down trees and I would drag branches to the truck. There I operated a grappler to load them in the dump bed. When the truck was full, I drove to the local dump and did my dumping. This was dirty hard work but it was driving and the people who I enterviewed with figured if I would do that I would do anything. I also got in much better shape lossing 35 pounds of soft fat. And now the Good Part. I start driving doubles tomorrow for Fedex. Thank you all for you encouragement. I will be seeing you on the road.

The problem with child support is that the person receiving it can do with it what they want,, it does not have to go to pay for the childs clothes or food , nor schooling,, it can be used for drugs, alcohol or anything else the receiver of child support wants to use it for,, even give to relatives to go to bars and get drunk on,, does this sound fair?? not to me it doesnt but the states tell you its none of your business what its used for you just pay it or else.. fine thing to take a drivers license and end a career over and make a felony out of,, once again the government sucks.

WELL, I spoke too soon. My good news is no longer so good. Fedex called me and told me that I have failed my background check. Turns out I have a Felony. What a shock. I had put that on my application. I had told that to the contractor. I had told that to the interviewer. I had told that to the person who was calling me with the bad news. I am now sitting here, four hours now, waiting to be called back by someone who is going to explain to me that it is company policy or some such BS. The good news is that I did have time to train my replacemant on my old job. While it is true that what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, it does hurt.

Wow i have been up and down with my child support over the years and it is tough. You must have not had a very good laywer because the military should not even be a factor since the child was 18, not in school. hmm why go beyond that. Wow i really feel for you and i hope everything works out and after reading your post i am soooo glad my support is done!

Now, I do have good news again. Fedex has agreed to hire me after all. What happens to felons is that they are rejected by most companies if that felony is less then 10 years old. Fedex allowed me to appeal the call to upper managment. At that point someone with the abilty to actually make the call made the right call. So, Hi HO HI HO its off to work I go.
