In the 150 page driver handbook they give you there are numerous rules and policies that are to be followed. But in the few months I’ve been here seems nobody does.
At multiple terminals I’ve seen people walking the yard in flip flops for example.
Also of the 2 trainers I had 1 had a suicide
knob on the steering wheel for turning with one hand not allowed. The handbook also stated no buying lottery tickets or gambling. Both my 1st and 2nd trainer bought lottery tickets and and the 1st went into a casino and gambled while we were on break. No smoking allowed in or near trucks, I break this rule and so did both my trainers.

Dude........ every scratcher you buy is a dollar that isn't making it home to feed your 7.... teen.... kids.... Swift is a 'family first' company... and I don't mean family first when we park this rig in the back of the minivan... I don't mean that at all. Lol.

Also. Do not have a CB. If you do don't turn it on or use it until you get to a traffic jam. Then turn it on and ask" anybody know what's going on up there"? As for gambling company doesn't want you bumping all the motor homes at the casino.

Is the no gambling/no lottery thing not because Swift is owned by a very religious family?

The lottery is for suckers, as is most forms of gambling.

Do they have a rule of blocking the hammer lane when trying to pass another truck going 1 mph faster?
