Lol. He is under the impression that brokers work for the truck. They don't and they don't owe the truck any disclosure. You'd think someone with carrier authority for 20 years would know thatspyder7723 and Ruthless Thank this.

Doubtful: "out here 20 years" and talks about being disappointed by uber freight. Have to be 20 years worth of 4 months experience thinking Uber or any other "new" creation that recreates the broker function via an app is anything but the same dirty dishes being put on the table.
Back to FEMA: still nobody biting on my $10k power only d/h opener. Fine by me, it rained by the house today, got my shirt wet strapping down. I can pass on a hurricane if the money isn't there.spyder7723, CharlieK and rank Thank this. -
I understand where he's going. He wants to hit the easy button and not have to do any extra work to better himself. But that allows more into the industry that really don't what they are doing and drive it down worse. Not saying I know what I'm doing but I at least understand the conceptspyder7723 and Ruthless Thank this.

You have three separate businesses involved in the transaction. Why is one allowed to hide their fee? No one is "working" for anyone. Three separate businesses. But one has a special licence to hide his fees from you, unlike other licensed brokers in other industries.
You might not know this, but several years ago there was serious talk of requiring freight brokers to disclose their fees by making the rate transparent, but the brokers successfully defeated it. Why do you think that is? Because they are looking out for us poor carriers? Get smarter. -
The industry is ripe for the new technology. We're still doing things like before cellphones and computers. There is no need for that... But with the new Elogs, small trucking companies are mostly finished anyway. Brokers will likely feel an impact from the Elogs too. Elogs are a big win for the mega carriers.
Uship is another big disappointment. Their website is mostly a disaster for truck load freight. -
NO ONE IS HIDING THIER FEE FROM THE PARTY THAT IS PAYING THE FEE. YOU ARE NOT PAYING THE BROKER, THE BROKER IS PAYING YOU#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!##!!!!!!!
YOU GO TO WALMART YOU PAY WHAT EVER FOR A DOZEN EGGS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE PAYING!!!!spyder7723 and rank Thank this. -
And I've been out here LONGER than 20 years, and I've had more own authority LONGER than 20 years too. Just to be accurate
