Does anybody know where to get financial assistance for food while out on the road?

Man that’s tough original poster. If I was anywhere near you, I’d buy you and bring you some food. Honestly, I can tell you firsthand. There’s some truckers out there that would help you out, you might have to bite your pride and just approach a few. Just show them that you’re just starting out, and some of them will be happy to help you out.

I believe this post is a troll at best, and a scam at worst. First, he posts a pic of North Korea's Kim Jong Un wearing a MAGA hat, so you know he's trying to stir stuff up. Then a post about being unable to remove a cross-threaded cap when just a screwdriver and a medium-sized rock could get any cap off (hey, they are just 6061 aluminum...), then posting info to collect alms from us. Nah, the has all the stink of a con....

Maybe you'd have better luck running a 3-card Monty game out in the truck parking lot? Make some $$ from washing driver's windows?

Exactly!!!!!!

I put almost every transaction on a credit card and pay the entire past due each month. I've never paid a penny in interest and the rewards cash offsets other bills.

 

Can't imagine what he would do if the company left him stranded
