Does anybody know where to get financial assistance for food while out on the road?

Probably get on the internet on his phone before it went dead because he can’t afford to charge it and ask about financial assistance to get home after his company left him stranded?

 

I am going to make this last comment and exit this thread. In all honesty, the thread might be better locked up, but that is not my call.

In my years on the road, I have seen a lot of drivers help out fellow drivers. It's been a while since I was last in a truck stop so I don't know if they still do the all-you-can-eat buffets, but I have seen many people in need provided such a meal. I have seen drivers help stranded people in 4-wheelers. Yes, there are some AH's driving, but the majority of drivers I have ran into are nice people with a little bit of compassion. I helped 2 Arrow drivers out when that crap started.

If you are reading my comment and find yourself in a bad situation miles away from home ask for some help. The worst that can happen is they say no. The best way, however, is to avoid these nightmares.

 

Intermittent fasting helps me to lose over 40 pounds. It's like a natural wonder drug , works fantasticly well.

 

It is unfortunate that most people in America have been conditioned to believe that we must eat at least three full meals a day as well as regularly consume snacks, drinks, etc. All that does is make the people who sell us that line of BS a lot of money to include the food producers, medical establishment, pharmaceutical industry, exercise business, etc.

Let's face it, a large portion of our working population is sedentary for the most part throughout the week and we can very easily eat less at the very least and many, if not most, should consider not eating at all for extended periods of time during the day or week. The overwhelming supermajority of results have shown that this can reverse if not eliminate so many of the health problems that plague our nation's population.

 

I think he finally starved.

 

Take an advance from your company? Tall to your company about how your struggling? Have a spouse, family member or friend wire money to your account?

 

Some people have no spouse or family member or friend that will help them.

 

Oh, for the love of god, WHY did you have to re-open this thread instead of letting it die peacefully??????
