i thought the 385 series are all headlamps off the side of the grill non intergrated unlike the 377's which have the intergrated ones... im not to much a fan of them down here theres guys running them, with 379 headlamps and deleted the integrals.

I thought you said buy cheap. Buying cheap usually leaves the "want" part out. :biggrin_25519:

I have a 2003 385. Nothing wrong with the trucks what so ever.

Those are by far the ugliest trucks that Peterbilt has ever made, and they learned their lesson on that one.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think they're one of the nicest looking trucks they made. Probably because I like trucks looking rough and not all fancy.

I drove one like that for three weeks. It has the most comfortable seat I ever sat in for a truck even with the newer seats out there.

Sitting in my 385 right now in OH. The truck wanted to send you a message, but none of it would make it past the forum filters.

we have one at work its a old spare winch truck nothing wrong with it, iv driving it a couple times its not a bad truck, most people don't like driving it because its got a old low hp cat in it (i think its like 350-400 hp) with a 9 speed double over transmission so it basically wont get out of its own way and its a chain drive pto setup vrs hydro but i really don't mind the truck when i drive it. its a solid truck nothing wrong with it, not fancy not powerful not fast but it gets the job done just the same. I don't mind driving it, I would rather drive one of the 379's with the 5 1/2's or 6 1/4's with 18's and hydro winches. but nothin wrong with the ole gal.
