This people are nice but the Management is out of touch. Since my husband started there. They have broken everyone committment they made him, they are even in writting. Took away east cost bonus, canada bonus pay, stop paying for on-time arrival bonus. I was told it was an out and back company, I leave on Sunday and return sometime of Friday usually. Then last week they fixed the trucks so we can't go over 62. Now I get past by everyone, takes me two hours longer to do the same work I used to do in 10. I get other drivers mad at me resulting in people flipping me off daily. No more running starts when carrying a heavy load up a hill. They still expect me to get the loads there in the same time, cut my pay and work a day extra to make less money. I will leave this company within the next few weeks. I don't mind when I have to drive a short distance out of my way to save a few cents on fuel but they have gone over board and my pay checks are down 33% a week for the same work. I am so done with this company. All of these changes were done over the last few weeks and they don't give a darn about the drivers. Many were will to take the first few bonus cuts, didn't might going out of the way to save moeny on fuel, understood the cut on on-time pay, but when the cut the truck back to 62 drivers started quitting by the dozens.
This is one wife that now has a hard working husband that get paid less and now has to work a day longer each week just to get the miles in. Driving a truck is a tough job but my husband loves it but he is not going to bust his tail for less money and additional time away from home. -
Sorry about that. I went to their training and after the first day I left and didn't go back. I feel that if they are going to charge me $4900 I had better get quality training. I saw that I was not so I left and went back to my day job.
