does anyone have an opinion on a 1989 ravens maxim flatbed

    I've had 2 Reitnouers for a total of 17 years and think very highly of them and their people, would find it hard to believe there is a better flat out there. They were the only AL trailer builder that would immediately do a flat with a lift kit on the back for me. Comments on age and use are valid, though.

    you can get rid of that corrosion by dropping the suspension and scraping or wire brushing it out of there,then you can smear silicone over that area and bolt everything back up.A 89 might be starting to get osteoporosis here shortly.another thing I would not do is belly load it,I believe in carring the weight over the wheels.When you belly load your frame rails have to act like big springs and throw the weight forward and backwards and no figure eights at 40mph in the truck stops make wide slow turns. (this ought to fire up the professionals)

    I think you meant Ravens Magnum that is they heavy duty Ravens kind of like the Big Bubba from the other guy
