Does anyone here run a new 2016 Boydstun car carrier???

    Yes like I said D13 with 505hp is available on special order from manufacturer. Boydstun is presently working with Western Star to spec it correctly. Unfortunately since it is not ready my first truck will have to be a Pete. I prefer the Western Star...it has more room in the cab. And the switches dont break in the dash like some Petes I have had in the past.

    Miller has never produced a stinger aside from mfg'ing Delavan for a year in 2013. They had a Fld with a single unit head rack & 48' high mount attached designed the run the Northeast. But that was around 2000 time frame.
    Have never heard much positive about Boydstun from people I have talked to. Then add they went out of business once & coming back would make me concerned about getting parts/service long term.

    That said, check with Delavan dealers. They are supposed to be redesigning their trailers & some newer units may be out already? Have no idea of specs or weights yet. Wally Mo makes a stinger that is supposed to be decent? Have no idea how they would be to get parts/service up there though. http://www.wallymo.com/trailer-10-car-stinger.php

    Thanks for the heads up. Got Miller and Wally Mo mixed up. I had one of their stingers....did not like it. After going back and forth I think I am gonna order a WS with the 3 car Cs headrack and a CX11 HCS from Cottrell. Getting a Boydstun to Montreal is gonna cost me a fortune in freight charges and like you said it will be next to impossible to get parts and warranty repairs done. Plus I have a registered importer 1 hour away from me. Makes more sense.
