Its hard for me to get by the same cb shop twice in any short amount of time and even harder to find someone good. Does anyone know about premiere-electronics.net? the cb prices are reasonable and $40 for up to 40w mod. I know thats not a heavy walker but I just want more than stock. Any info or advice?
Does anyone know about premiere-electronics.net??

i have never heard of this place, and i dont think anyone i know has talked about them either.
-
They've been around for a while. They use to sell some sort of a wack-pack mod. Years ago they did have some bad press about the radios burning up. They were the last place to sell the President Lincoln radios.

They have been around for quiet a while, I have bought from them in the past, and their prices are fair, but you can find places that will beat Premiers...
I also have read on some of the Forums that Premiers so called "P&T" is a waist of money, but if you look around you will see things like that on just about every CB Shop on the Net. -
I was just curious. They seemed like a good place but wanted 2 know before I got burned. I likes the connex 3600 they got. Any online suggestions where to buy a CB. As I said its hard for me to get to shops to buff a stock CB up. There is a shop 20 miles from me xit 29 I75 KY but no ones ever there. And Big O's in Indy I'm by a few times a month but again never catch anyone there. Tkx

Custom CB Radios
Sparkys
CB Radio Plus
GI Joes
CB City (a bit pricey tho)
Clays CB Shop
I'm sure I'm missing a few, but these are ones I have bought from over the past couple of years and would recommend. (nothing wrong with Premiere either that I can remember)Mud Dog Thanks this. -

1) I recently bought a refurbished DX 949 from Sparky's, no complaints.
2) I highly recommend powerbypreacher.com in MARSHAL, Tx. He's done a PC68XL & PC78LTW for me including align & tune, install Channel Guard filter, mosfet upgrade. Check out his website, manufactures his own lines of amplifiers that sound real good although I haven't tried one yet.
Pros: Has all the training, experience & equipment (see website).
Cons: Don't be in a hurry, he seems to be extremely busy (which I take as a positive).
3) Mountain View Electronics at I40 exit 412 in Dandridge, TN. Sent a 257HP to them (I was the 3rd owner), mike had no audio & up/down buttons not working, got it back less than a week from the day I shipped it(!!!!!!!), everything fixed & tune checked-----ON WARRANTY! Quite a credit to both the shop & Magnum! Sold it to a guy in La. who is very happy with it.Last edited: Nov 24, 2011
