Does anyone know anything about CRE getting bought by Prime Inc

Do you have any clue who Robert Lowe actually is? I highly doubt a company of 5200 trucks, 4 exclusive Phillip Morris Inc. contracts, the owner owning 2 Kentucky Derby winners, 1 of them also taking Churchhill Downs twice, a casino and a 4 star resort hotel needs any help from CRE....sorry guy try again.

I am hearing more about PRIME buying CRE as well as of late. But that would be a huge buzz for OTR and other trucking magazines and I haven't seen anything in any major publications about it so I'm guessing it's the same old rumor being resurrected. I do hope if indeed it isn't true that the people spreading this type of propaganda would get something new to lie about. This is the type of rumor that can cause widespread panic amongst drivers and smaller fleets alike. Seriously....READ A BOOK....SHOWER....AND FOR GOD'S SAKE QUIT DRIVING LIKE A DRUNKEN MONKEY # 55 MPH IN THE HAMMER LANE!

and btw....PRIME Inc is NOT publicly traded thus making such claim not only false but not very informed as well.

I offered to buy CRE for one plug nickel. Still waiting on a call back.

I work for CR England and I have heard nothing of this from any of the other drivers or in the rumors around the yard

 

A company that grosses millions of dollars a year and they wouldn't take you up on your offer?? How dare them!

 

This one is persisting. Lately I have heard that Robert Lowe bailed CRE out and has a major stake now in that company. Is CRE publicly traded? Anyway, as has been said, this would be a major buzz in every trucking news publication. SO probably this is not happening. Rumors abound in this industry!
