I know they require two or less moving violations/accidents in the last three years. And they say you get between 34-48 hrs off every week.

I almost went to them. I like what I heard. only reson I didn't is that I just decided to stay wher I was. There pay was okay but not what I make now and the home time promise is great and I hear they stick to it. oh and the macks were another reason I didn't go too

I had a bad experience with them 3 years ago...I sent in an application and a week later they said they had investigated me and wanted to offer me a job. I had my girl drive me all the way to their Quincy, IL facility and they put me in a hotel for orientation.
Everything seemed fine...ton of paperwork to fill out and a lot of information...they had me authorize them to get a copy of my work history from the SSA. Every day, our group was being thinned out for one reason or another. People being sent home for this or that...their physical was pretty grueling and a lot of people were sent home after that for failing piss tests or for their blood sugar being too high, etc.
I made it to the last afternoon...there were three of us left out of about 20. They gave us all our road tests and told us they were assigning us trucks...when I got pulled aside and told I was being sent home because I lied on my application. I told them I never lied on the app...they were having trouble getting a hold of my last employer (an owner operator who trained me). So, I called him and asked him if he would call them back...so they got that verified...and everything again seemed cool. They're still having us look at their trucks and get ready to be assigned one. Mack 9 speeds were what they had.
Then they pulled me aside again and told me I was going home because I forgot to list a dishwashing job I worked at 10 years before. 3 days of ######## and gas money spent that I had to beg and borrow to get there just to be turned away over a job that had nothing to do with trucking and that was beyond the federal time-frame.
So, IMO...Sharkey and Sisbro and their little subsidiary companies are a big fat joke.
I'll say that I'm glad I didn't go to work for their nitpicky #####, though. I now have four years experience, no accidents and I made more than they were going to pay me. -
Who do you pull for now ... if you don't mind me asking. I live in Fort Wayne, IN.

I used to pull for an owner operator...Bulletproof Trucking...good guy. He was leased to ATF (who could never seem to get high-enough paying freight) and then to MMD out of Bolingbrook, IL.
The truck I drove for him for two years blew a head...he doesn't have the dough to repair it...so I'm searching for a company that is just as good or better... -

Any info about Sisbro out of Quincy, IL would be appreciated. According to the info I got from the recruter it sounds great, But we know how recruters get paid. Thanks!

Been there 17 years just recently got away from there. Have no reason to lie I use my real name on here would not say anything that could not be proven. He will blackball you steal your money and should be held responsible for atleast one employees death who bleed out right there at sisbro between a forklift and dock door. How he never got sued over that or OSHA never got involved is a mystery. what goes around comes around. maybe someday he will get his. The guy wasnt even certified to be on a forklift. It has literally took me 8 1/2 years to get out of there. I first tried leaving back in 2000 he made sure i couldnt go anywhere he wanted me making him money. He wanted to keep me for life. I have had mishaps go wrong with my truck cant prove it but in the right situation could have cost me my life. lucky for me it never. but was going to sue him for blackballing me in 2000 and have to wander if he wasnt behind the mishaps in some way. My name is Ted R.

All I know is they are owned by Sharkey out of Quincy I think. I had a friend who worked for Sharkey that was dedicated out a meat place in Bardstown I think. Seemed like he liked them alright, but I don't know much about them.
