What booster do you have? And was it worth the money? I have Verizon and there are several areas that I go to frequently that the service is spotty.
Does anyone use at&t for cell service while trucking?

I use Metro By T-Mobile. it's been good everywhere but some of the mountains and way out places. $60 unlimited
God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
If you have internet or TV service from Comcast/Xfinity in your home you can use Xfinity Mobile. It works on the Verizon networks and you can get unlimited talk & text plus 1GB of data for $15 per month. The unlimited talk, text, data is $45 per month. If you don't have at least one Xfinity service at home the monthly cost is an additional $20 per month for Xfinity Mobile.
You can use Visible. It's Verizon's deep discount service. I use it as a backup. Unlimited everything for $25 per month if you subscribe to Party Pay. Party Pay is where you and 3 others share a family plan. You don't have to bring those 3 people to Visible. Visible puts 4 people into a family plan and collects the $25 individually. Or you can pay $40 on your individual plan. There is no reason to not use Party Pay. You literally just have to answer the question "would you like the pay $25 or $40 per month?" Visible only offers chat/text customer service. There are no people you can call. I've never had any reason to ask for any help.
With both Visible and Xfinity Mobile there are little or zero fees and taxes.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
Helps out a lot. Only thing I don’t like is it will drop calls sometimes when passing towers.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
I've been with T-Mobile for almost 15 years.
Coverage and speeds have greatly improved over the past few years.
There are still a few spotty areas here and there, but not many. And I think that is true for all of them.God prefers Diesels and austinmike Thank this. -
Mom has had ATT for a long time. The traveling she has done, phone has worked fine.
When I was out in east texas, my sprint service wasnt too good. Had to make a couple calls from nice people who stopped after I had broke down. They all had ATT. Thought about switching but ATT was too high.
Have T-Mobile now after they swallowed up Sprint. Tech support is iffy depending on who you talk to.God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
Get up a bit higher and they get a whole lot better.
Or maybe that is just because I have been a customer so long, and we have so many lines being on a family plan...
They tend to want me happy.
I might be the only one that has called tech support, mainly because of being on the road so I run into more problems between my phone and hotspot device.
We have 10 active lines and have been with them for a very long time. That carries some weight when it comes to being helpful. -

I’ve been using straight talk but because I use my GPS on my phone I’m using up a lot of data. Supposedly I have unlimited and it runs about $55 a month with taxes $60. But they throttle me down all the time. And I can’t get a signal in many places that I should. I’ve about had enough. Before straight talk I had AT&T and while the service is good, they are about four times the price of other budget carriers. I just couldn’t justify paying what they wanted.
remember there are no true unlimited plans. Most of them once you use up about 30 gigs per month they start Throttling you down. Once you reach 60 gigs a month they’ll pretty much cut you off completely. -
Also they can't lower the signal strength for just you. So that means they have bad coverage in the areas you had the signal issues.Lennythedriver Thanks this.
