There are a bunch of different actual signals used. I’m rationalizing now with 5g. Some depends on how good your phone is set up to use any of the signals.
I now have a Motorola that seems to be doing better than an iPhone costing 4 times as much.
Also watch for 5g E. That is a combo 5/4g signal that is very slow.
I’ll use up 200gigs then get throttled with att. If I move to an unbury area. Even the throttled doesn’t do too bad. Tolerate for a few days. I gotta quit watching those Godzilla movies.
Does anyone use at&t for cell service while trucking?

I have noticed that on occasion I have slower speed on 5g than on 4g. There is a phone tower pretty much in one of our yards (techs have to get to it through our gates) and when I am at that yard my phone shows full 5g signal but the actual speeds slow down.Moosetek13 Thanks this.

I’m in WV, run about everywhere east of the big creek mainly. I can’t complain with At&T…..
Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
weird, but when i see commercials for T-mobile claiming they have the best coverage across the country, they show a map of the U.S. and Nebraska has almost no coverage (with Tmobile) And I do have t-mobile as my carrier. No complaints

I noticed that too with different phones. I have the Google pixel now and that seems faster than my LG g8x
