Have a local Coca Cola distributing plant wanting drivers as we speak. If you want I can post some info about the job? This would be in Kansas.

Schneider reimburses after you have your Cdl. Truck driving is not for everyone. 14 hour days, away from family and friends if OTR. You need a strong work ethic, that's for sure.

Good pay & not stuck in a routine such as office or factory; love traveling the 48 states. I came off the road one time for a factory job and knew within a week it wasn't going to be for me; listening to the same old tired jokes and complaining all the time. In the truck a person can isolate themselves to some degree from all that. I love the solitude, especially late at night with a thermos of hot coffee and XM Radio. Take advantage of whatever pension plan a trucking company offers and can have a comfortable retirement.skyviper73 Thanks this.

I was talking to a 21 year old Swift driver the other day. Not sure if he came in thru Central; doesn't hurt to ask a recruiter.

Because you need to be older to safely drive chickens around, than you do to haul Hazmat.
