Drove two of my buddy's Prostars and the passenger door windows will go up a few inches then stop and you need to release and press the switch again to get it up a another few inches and repeat until it's closed.
Will a little lube in the right spots fix this?
Does every Prostar passenger door window stick going back up?

i have only known the ones that i drove, to go up slower than the drivers side. but not to have stopped.

The switch connectors might be corroded,
Just remove the passenger side switch and hook and unhook the wiring harness a couple of time to clean the contacts.
It makes the drivers side switch work better.Prom Night Dumpster Baby Thanks this. -
The window is actually slightly crooked in the slider. The switch pod does sense the amount of current draw on the motor and will cut it out when over loaded, that is why you have to release the button and re push it. This is a really frustrating problem that we encounter from time to time. It isn't always clear why the window suddenly doesn't fit well anymore. Sometimes it is because the door is actually bent and the slider channel is now curved instead of straight. Sometimes it is the inner track or related mount has cracked or broken inside the door and now it is wider than normal allowing the window to go up crooked. Other times it is the weather seal worn and dirty and becoming sticky. I can tell you that any lube will only make a mess and smear and no matter how clean you wipe it, it will eventually track and find its way out again and smear up the glass again. This is where you really have to watch and see what is happening. Is the glass going up crooked? When it stalls, can you grab the glass and actually wiggle it back and forth? Sometimes I hold the glass against the rear slider as it is going up to see if that helps or hold it against the front one to see which way the glass needs to slide smoothly and then go from there. Check the side of the glass and the inner pocket of the slider weather seal where it slides to make it is dry and smooth. I have found some pretty gunky residue in there that was actually really sticky and would cause excessive friction.

Ok hopefully I won't break any plastic nibs prying off the door panel!

Couple of screws up top and two larger ones along the grab bar and the rest are pop out clips.
