Will it increase your fuel tas by lowering your MPG?

Yes, because IFTA does not tax you on the miles covered in each state but rather by the number of gallons burnt to run those miles and MPG is used to calculate it.

As a company driver it is not something I need to worry about.

It is cold enough to idle tonight, so I am idling.

HOT, A/C was on for Sleeping.
COLD, Heating Was On For Sleeping.

Fall/Spring, was random Idling depending upon Altitude and State.

"Fuel Mileage" declared Not A Problem.
    Driver Comfort Overrode >No Idling< regardless, including wal-mart/other d.c.'s!
