Does it actually work?

Safelite? Last time I called them for a quote, it wasn’t free. The only good thing they got going on is that they’re nationwide, but you will surely pay big money. It’s cheaper to call around for a quote.

If you do it right, you’ll barely be able to notice it. The problem comes when the liquid doesn’t make it fully into the crack. That section that didn’t get covered properly will be visible just like the crack was visible before the treatment.

The windshield glue product posted by the OP says it can handle cracks about 10 inches. I tried it on a 6-inch crack and it worked. No more expansion. Before, the crack was growing a little every day.

The guy who invented that is a genius. I don’t know what took me so long to learn about it.

If done properly, the DOT officer won’t notice it.

They aren’t going to do it out of the goodness of their heart, surely your insurance company paid for it.
