Does it make sense to own different types of trailers?

Having a variety of trailers also helps you stay closer to home.

There's really no downside to having multiple options.

Once I firmly believed that curtain sided flatbeds are good solution. Conestogas resemble the most common type of trailers in Europe. They seem to be able to be loaded with a flatbed staff (dimensions allowing) and dry van. However, in this TR venue, I read that it may not work for the simple fact that shippers/brokers/receivers may not always acknowledge that they could be handled as dry vans, that the curtains serve more as tarps rather than walls.

More trailers = more options, more days to work, more customers to please.
When one wagon is parked you use another one. When one season is slow you hook to what wagon has product moving for it.
