Does it smell like gas in the truck?

I don't mind the diesel smell...But someone please tell us why the islands smell like pizz....Even the new Love's N/O Vegas on the 93, has the pizz smell at the islands.....Come on people....The friggin' restrooms are less than a hundred yards away......

 

you might want to go to a school and look around talk to some of the students that just came in from a trip around town to find out how layed back this job is. Because it is not easy never has been never will be. I don't mean to be mean or anything but I will tell you. That if you are looking for an easy job go to something else cause this one isn't for you. I have been covered with very green very wet very watery cow poop and not been able to take a shower for several hours... I did change my cloths but still. I stunck. now days isn't AS bad but there will be times when you have to get dirty and break a finger nail to get the load deleivered on time. I can go on but it wont do you any good to read all this you have to live it for a few months to see what i mean.

 

Only when the Steering wheel holders spill..........They figure they're not paying for the fuel anyways......

 

Yes TRUCKSTOPS STINK.

You will smell DIESEL thats been spilt , urine , Feeces , Animal crap ( from live ones in trailers ) , oil , diesel smoke , burnt rubber , hot brakes , cigar , cigarette and OTHER burnable substances , food odours . And then there is the NOISE to go along with it.

 

whats the deal with smelling diesel?
its not going to kill you
if you park beside a cattle liner--then you have some smell

So.....

You're worried about smells.
You're worried about noise.
You seem to be worried about a lot of little things that are just part of life for an OTR truck driver.

You might be better suited for some other line of work.
