    I have driven before I just don't have a license but you guys are older so you have more wisdom than me, so I'm going to take the advice and get the class A before I continue

    I didn't mean to scare anybody but I can understand the feeling of ...does the new guy know what he's doing? I hope he doesn't do anything stupid. My grandfather says you walk every mile one step at a time.

    i have never heard that....i didnt have a reg DL when i went to trucking school and learned to drive...i got it the week before i started school...unless they have changed the rules...cuz that was back in 1991....but i have never heard of having to have a reg DL for any certain period of time first.

    i was 22 and had never had a DL..and i did jump directly into drivin trucks....

    i wanted to drive a truck since i was a little girl....for a lot of my childhood we were poor and didnt even have a car....so therefore i never had a DL....if you wanna drive a truck....i say go for it....i did....
