We have a pickup at Pepsi in Newport News and coming down 64 it wants me to make a right turn off the middle of the bridge and pickup in the middle of Newport News lake. lol
Fortunately I've been doing this long enough I know better. No, I've just got #### common sense.
That thing is wrong so many times it's no wonder how the many clueless who depend on the dummy in the box get in trouble.NavigatorWife, tsavory and Vilhiem Thank this. -

Back on topic... the fear never goes away completely, you never know what may happen, you must stay alert and be ready for anything to happen.
What you have is the very normal nerves of being a rookie. When I started I was more nervous than I can explain, now after 3 years I'm just as comfortable in a truck as a car. It gets better, if I can do it you can! Good luck.YoungGuns Thanks this. -
OP. That is normal feelings to have. The pics you have of your delivery/ route yep a little tight. But remember any building you go to a truck went there first to deliver the building. So you can get there. When you get more confident the fear will fade. I still get a little jittery going into tight deliveries. Just your brain ramping up the warning devices. Always I remind myself some other driver did this before me.
Everyone sit back and watch me work.
Good luck. -
I think driving an automatic it would because then you could focus on the road more. If you're like me and can't down shift fast enough and dump the clutch too fast.
