Does the iss-d score really matter?

    i hasve heard alot of people talk about this subject is it really that important or not and are there other things to consider?

    I assume you're referring to the ISS-2 #. That is basically the percentage of the time you can expect to be bothered by cops at weigh stations. The lower this number is, the better life is for you and your company. Violations and histories will affect this number.

    If a company has a score that indicates INSPECT or OPTIONAL there is a reason for it . Checker their SafeStat SEA's to see where the problem is . You don't want to drive equipment that has a high record of OOS . A higher than average driver OOS indicates either pay is so poor drivers can make a living running legal or they have dispatch trying to run them into the ground .
