Does this kind of crap happen on the road frequently?

I have to agree with Drachen, people can be crazy out there no matter what you're driving.

 

Just 4 wheelers tend to get even more stupid around big trucks. Don't know why that is.

 

i dont understand that either DTB. personally i try to spend as little time passing or in any blind spots trucks have as possible. i hate it when another 4 wheeler sits in the blindspot of my car, drives me nuts. (suspect its fear to pass me though, car is Crown Vic. former police car as well)

since it drives me nuts i do my best to avoid doing it to others. same with other things. i hate tailgaters and people who cut others off. i really really hate the morons who go down my street the wrong way as well.

 

That's why when I do a 34, I get out of the truck. Fishing pole, swim shorts, pizza and a few adult beverages, kingsize bed with fresh, clean sheets. Won't even look at he truck for 2 days. I have no sympathy for idiots when they get killed, but the short getaways keep me from going postal.

you know, that's the worst thing about law enforcement... Your job as a cop is to serve and protect the self righteous, self centered idiots of America. Impossible. Make half the money of a rookie company driver and put up with continuous BS. I'd rather go trucking.

 

I think both the trucker and driver were being idiots. If that happened to me, I would have gotten car's license plate and just backed way off. I seen this happen once before irl. I was in the slow lane and a truck was trying to pass me in Virginia. We were climbing a hill so the truck passing me took a couple of minutes to get around me. Behind that truck was a new Camero and so once the trucker got around me and back into the slow lane, the Camero came around and got in front of that trucker and slammed on his brakes intentionally. I saw this as I was in another lane getting ready to get off of an exit.

 

As I have heard many times, You can"t fix stupid!!

 

All I see when I look at this entire thread now is this one line... Fishing is my passion!!! Nothing in life compares.

I really hate turning lane idiots because when I'm making a turn, my eyes are fully on the mirror on the inside of the turn to make sure I don't hit anything with my tandems. My pet peeve is someone so impatient that he turns from the side of me while coming out of a parking lot or driveway.

 

I got a call from my safety dept. Re; a complaint that I was was running 75-80MPH and had just run a car off the road. I told safety to check the Q/C I had been stuck in traffic and hadn't gone over 5MPH it over an hour! She said "OK thank you"
BTW My truck was governed at 65 then.

 

If fishes had internets, they would be posting videos of other fishes getting hooks rammed through their heads!!!
