INTRASTATE OPERATING AUTHORITY @ Permits Plus Inc These are the ones that require intrastate authority
PE_T Thanks this. -
I’d say, go for it. Not much different than a 2 pick load. If you know what I mean.

Does all states even require that? The only one I ever messed with getting was Texas, but then most other states I never picked up and delivered.

The only info I’ve read about it, states to call each State, to check if it’s required. I know of a few who claim it’s not needed here in Mi. If the majority of their work is interstate. I think they’re wrong, but it’s none of my bussiness. I avoid it myself, as I was told in Lansing it was required. Also told, very nicely, that we would get to know each other real well. That’s all I needed to hear!!!

I wonder how current or accurate that is.PE_T Thanks this.

lllinois used to be very picky on intrastate hauling- They were called SSR's (Single state registration) Cheap- Like $126 a year.....
Only other state I know thats picky about it is Texas.PE_T Thanks this. -
RUN IT! Keep an eye on hurricane or price in some extra headache possibly?

I never heard of it being needed, we haul all the time up there and use the interstate authority for it.
