Does Westside transportation do follicle testing. I smoked weed about 2months ago

I have no use for pot smokers.

So you were feeling low and felt smoking weed was the solution huh.you probably planned joining this industry long before two months ago so why chanced it no matter how depressed you were.talk to friends seek help anything other then weed especially when coming into the industry.I don't think Westside does hair but you better decide if trucking is what you really wanna pursue.

 

I'm starting to think every drug addict in America is applying to be a truck driver now, so many of these threads are popping up as of late its starting to drown out other common threads.

There is reasons why there is laws on the books to drug test CDL drivers, if there is even a slightest chance you are doing drugs or have in the last 6 months you should not be behind the wheel of a 18 wheeler. You have to much in the palm of your hands with a CMV and to much at stake to chance it or chance making a bad decision. We already have enough idiots on the road that cant drive the truck or handle it without drugs we don't need to add to that pile.

Sorry for the rant but I'm tired of seeing my chosen profession go down hill. It's sad when it seems like a person cant hold a job anywhere else they shove his arse into truck driving. It's got to stop somewhere before more people pay the price for the choice of others.

What kind of conversation did you have while smoking that #### that made you think driving a truck would be a great career choice!
Think again buddy! Check with the local burger joint, they probably won't mind once every 20 years or so.

 

What people do in their free time away from the truck is no ones business and has no effect on their ability to do the job. The laws are rediculius

 

This guy probably weighs 450# and loves meth because it only stays in his system for 3 days. It sucks that drug testing really only applies to soft core pot smokers. All the hard drugs like coke, meth and heroin are out of your system in a matter of days. But if you smoked pot 3 weeks ago this ####### thinks you should find another career. Drink another Budweiser mitrucker

 

This statement is what is ridiculous! Take for instance an alcoholic, if we go by your statement as long as he aint in the truck drinking it all is good. Please tell me how well you do your job after a heavy night of binge drinking, when you have a pounding head and your mind is foggy. Same goes for drug's just because someone is doing something in their "Free" time does not mean it does not have consequences outside of it.

If they ever legalize pot inside of a truck it's time to change country's as we will mirror what Russia's roads look like.

 

It's crazy how people come here for advice and just get bashed. I have like maybe 1 2 or 3 posts. Been driving for 2 years almost. No need for me to post a "dumb" question and get reamed. You don't know what this guy's life is like and if it irritates you so much then don't reply unless you have some constructive criticism to give. Basic point don't be a JACK ###!!!

 

What I meant by doing it in their free time is as long as they are 100 percent normal before they get back to work. In case you dont know weed does not give you a hang over. Also, if I want to drink a 30 pack on saturday, sleep off the hangover sunday, and return to work monday thats none if your #### business.
