My wording is dead on, and so is my point. New to trucking, no. New to life, no. Seems like most every new post, validates my point. All these senior drivers were wet behind the ears at some point, and some still are. Like it or not, as with all things in life, the industry IS changing. Like it or not. The new drivers will gain experience and pay their dues in the same manner as all drivers in the past. Seems to be some awfully "big" heads in here, that believe they are the end of an era. Nonsense. Go do something else if you can't take the long hours and little pay any longer. Who continues in a field they despise? Hmmm.......

Still will help if you knew what you are talking about....go read thru the posts...
Stop reading what you want to read and take some of our advice. -
OP
Now you say
Quoting you again, "Hmmm . . ."
"Your problem is obvious." At 53, you should remember that one.KE5WDP and outerspacehillbilly Thank this. -
At 53 you are the new generation?

I wish I were as wise as you. Get back with us after six months, if you are able to. What is it, about 2 out of 20 newbies still around after six months? That was not the case in the "old days". What's wrong, can't you "new breed" of drivers hack it?
Go on over to CRE, then tell us all about your new "adventure".
There are some very good new drivers, and some very good old drivers. The same can also be said about bad new and old drivers.
PS..... You don't have the slightest clue about the differences between trucking now and 30 years ago.KE5WDP, outerspacehillbilly and JustSonny Thank this. -
A former engineer who has been trucking for many years now. It is what it is. Some people just like to complain.

I'll let this go...for now...

Regarding those tools: You drove off before I had a chance to return them...give me your address and I'll be happy to mail them back to you.

Like it or not. Your first post was wrong. And I refuse to take the troll bait longer. Go find a new bridge.Injun Thanks this. -
Correction:
"Women, and others worthy of respect" Sorry
Injun Thanks this. -
New to trucking? Then why do you list in your short bio, "Trucker? No Answer"? Please, enlighten us.... Just how long have you been trucking? Seems you've got that mixed up with b****ing and griping. If that's the case, you're a pro, wannabe.
At 53 years of age, you're definitely not new to life. A far cry from my 29, almost 30, years. I appreciate your input and your opinion, but be consistent. When life gives us lemons, most of us make lemonade, or mix them with vodka and have a party. You, my misguided friend, have been sucking on said lemons.
I dub thee, TTRRCOF. The Trucker's Report Resident Cantankerous Old Fart.
