There is nothing glamorous about trucking. It is a profession that many of us enjoy, even with all the BS. There are demands, but that is true with any profession. Most problems can be resolved by going to the source of the difficulty and talking it out. If you pout and stew about it then nothing will be resolved and you will remain bitter until you decide to quit and go find another carrier. Rather than addressing the problem you get all upset and raise your blood pressure. If you are so unhappy in this business then you would probably do much better if you find another profession. I would not do anything that made me so unhappy. Life is too short.

I agree with you, a new driver should get 2,500/week, are they? I´m not too sure about that. Search around the post, blogs and podcast of new drivers and you´ll find them saying closer to 2,000 than 2,500. And 3,000? I haven´t read any new driver saying they did 3,000/wk year 1.

    Here´s one...

That´s 26K-30K. Subtract the school fee and training time that you were not working another job...now how much did you really make year 1? A little too close to flipping burgers for comfort I think.

G/MAN, go to this here forum and look a few post up/down ¨Need advice for my trucker hubby¨ posted yesterday and find...

And these stories of companies playing with peoples DAC reports are all over the place. Companies are more likely to cut you and grab the next CDL mill graduate than work with someone with a problem. Understand it´s practical, saves money.

Did a little over 48K my first year. Most of these stories about false info being placed on their DAC are from people who are looking to blame someone else for their problems.

Well, even if you ran 3,500/wk average your first year and earned 21 cents (1st year?) a mile, that comes to $735 gross a week.

That´s 38K a year, yet you say you made 48K in your first year.

That´s 10K less. How did you do it?

Really? I haven't seen it. He is just an outsider looking in, whinning about whinners...
Give him some time on the road, he will see why most of us need to vent somewhere.

Better to vent here instead at a customer.
