Thank you for the Birthday wishes.

I realize he makes that claim, and it is probably true. I chose the word "allegedly" simply because I don't personally know if it's the truth or not.

Thank you. I would never expect a person to apologize for their opinion.

Glad to see some of you finally came through. I guess I should have made clear that the desire to drive a truck OTR, is simply one of those "bucket list" items to scratch off. After doing it for a year or so, I'll probably move on to the next list item. Have gotten some great encouraging input from this forum and many other web forums. It wasn't difficult to sort out the posts from those who hate their job choices vs those who have a passion for trucking. Thanks to all.

How do you know? What if one loves his job but still needs to vent?
Another "know it all" person who has no clue...

    You'll find out...

Come here. Insult us. Then talk how our chosen careers is simply a 'game' or 'list' item for you so you can feel better about yourself? Crawl into a hole. You will find no kind words from me.:biggrin_25510:

Once again, I reiterate.... This is coming from a man whose info reads as follows:

    "Trucker? No answer"

    The state rests, your honor.

    TruckerDragon and KE5WDP Thank this.

Perhaps if you had read the original post, you might notice that I'm not a trucker. You are very sharp however, so hang in there...I will change my answer to "No" for you, ok? Ok.

Sir, I've been following this thread and have read every post. I appreciate your input and value your opinion, but I also feel like that if you're not a driver, you have no right to critique and downplay our chosen profession. Yes, I complain at times, but yes, I thoroughly enjoy it. We live in a gorgeous country and I enjoy seeing it and southern Canada. Granted, it's a PITA trying to get the job done, but the end result is often rewarding. I apologize if I sounded like a PITA myself. I mean no harm and hold no disrespect for you. It's threads like this that keep this forum interesting. Have a wonderful day and stay safe, my friend. :)

You, Mr. Catjack, Are far kinder than I. I have no time to waste on a halfwit 4 wheeler who cuts 5 feet infront of us and thinks its plenty of room. Who while wearing his socks, shirt, underwear, sitting on his chair eating cheetos like every other lazy ####### out there, and complain about 'those #### loud trucks' who 'take up all the road' and 'make me late to getting my latte and mcdonalds' forgets that:

Every. Single. Thing. Was delivered by truck. The cotton to make the cloathing and such, then taken to stores, the couch your lazy self sits on, the cheetoes your clog your artery with, (Your one remaining good one) , the fuel in your SUV, the food at mcdonalds, you name it you got a trucker to thank, so if you gotta hear them whine a little about peoples ignorance when it comes to the jobs they slave for so you can have your dollar burger, and they complain about the slave wages they work for so that you can HAVE a dollar burger (If they increased our wage it would be a dollar and a quarter, or two dollar burger! And dont even think about the cost of starbucks!) Maybe you should suck it up and deal.

    Ingrate.
