Doesn't look good on buying a truck.

    Got approved today officially, by Landstar, as an operator, and they're sending me the papers for the truck, but I selectrucks won't approve me. I don't know what to do. If I can't get a truck through selectrucks for $1000 down, I don't know any other way of getting one. Oh well, maybe one of the Landstar BCO's needs a driver.

    Congrats on getting approved man, I hope finding a truck works out for you.

    As far as the credit thing, it could always be worse. I had excellent credit and lived well within my means for many years but things took a vicious turn for the worse last year and I lost EVERYTHING including my home. What you have is YOURS and no one can take it away from you. My car and my motorcycle are mine but my evil $%$#$^&&%$$ wifes credit card debt (in my name ######) and home weren't and when it went from bad to worse, it all disappeared including my savings account. Right now I am busting my hump to get where you are now (2 acres and a trailer) and when I have it and it's in my name with a deed, I will feel like the richest man on earth.
