Dog viciously attacks San Francisco library security guard

That's no "service animal". More like someone's "comfort pet" that they didn't know had a dislike for those wearing uniforms. Just another irresponsible dog owner.

 

given the cold hard facts, that homeless people are living in the streets, using the streets as bathrooms, and defecating in them, it would not surprise me one bit to have security guards to keep them out of the library, or at least maintain a "timed limit" as to how long they can stay.

could also be they library has had previous damages in the bathrooms, from homeless taking baths in them, and defecating all over the floors, walls, etc.

the dog should have been shot dead. this is why i carry, and glad that i do....DLDNM

dogs..lives..do..not..matter.

and i do believe that was a pitbull. even a better reason to shoot it dead.

 

No defense. But from the story. The dog was fine until they approached the owner. It seems more like the dog was being protective.

Doesn't mean that the dog should have been there, though.
