I just got done reading another threaD ON THEM..... Dohrn Transfer, Co. - Rock Island, Il.
I see there was quite a bit of negative feedback on them. Is there anyone who has had a good experience with them?
There is a Dohrn Trucking not to far from me in Sterling,IL, and after I get some time in OTR I was hoping to get working with them. They have day or night routes and I can get home each night.

I guess thy could be okay if you don't mind driving a truck that looses parts a it's going down the road. They run some of the worst trucks I've seen. Like union trucks but union jobs pay at least. Last I heard Dohrns paid $13 hr and that was in WI there you can't live on that

Was driving down 90 yesterday and at the WI/IL border there was a Dohrn T-600, looked as if the cab air ride was broken, and the fairing was moving around alot too. Didn't stay by him for long at all. -
see... I wasn't joking. lol they are horible

How much experience does this company require?
-
I think they require 2 years expierence at least when I tried wroking for them years ago. My buddy drives for them now, and he only had farm truck expierence and they started him off as a spotter, then moved him up to driver. He says they suck, and pay is not all that great espically driving their POS trucks. There is ALOT of locals who drive for them though, so it might fine for you.
