This is spot on, I’ve developed into being excellent at backing, I love backing in a truck in challenging scenarios, (just how I’m wired) that said, when I was just first starting out, I made myself a promise. I wasn’t going to let my pride ruin a potentially good thing by backing into something because I was too embarrassed to get out and look. I got out and looked each time I wasn’t absolutely sure. And you know what? NOBODY CARED. They didn’t laugh at me, etc. hey, I got the #### trailer in without banging anything up. At the end of the day, that’s what counts. That’s what keeps your job.

heck when I first started I was making a tight turn at an intersection and it was dark out and I couldn’t see the corner. I had cars behind me. I didn’t care. I popped a break and got out for a second to look to make sure I was going to make the turn without hitting the curb and pole there. I lived on to continue driving.

OP, keep doing what you’re doing. You’ll get better. Get out and look, DONT lwt your pride ruin a good thing.

    Chinatown Thanks this.
