If you are a new driver or a veteran driver STAY AWAY FROM BELL WAREHOUSE in flint, mich. They will tell you that the pay is about $120-50 or better, when it's maybe $46/day. The trucks they use for local runs(in state) are in such poor condition they need to be scraped. balled tires, oil leaks...The Safe Stat score is 75% the CSA2010 score is.."Unsafe Driving"-73% "Vehc". score 91% They will try to have you stay over your 14 hrs. and then if you refuse you are a pice of crap. They have 3 good dispatchers...the others, well you can't trust( the short fat one). This Company is right there with the bottom of the barrel for employers.

99% of these trucking companies are all the same.Slave labor! Work
you to death for no pay and the office turds are all the same lying back stabing scum from the same mother. 28 years of driving and all the good companies I have worked for went under if it were'nt for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.Now It's ether work for 14 $ hr or hang myself thanks trucking companies for all my dedication! -
is jeff one of the good dispatchers?

I worked for an individual that had some trucks leased on with Bell and that was a joke as well. I was told many things and none of which were true. There are some good dispatchers there that used to work for Martin Transport on Davison Rd in Burton. This company expects you to work tons of extra hours and when you deliver a load they want you to sit and call every hour until they get you a load which may take a day or longer, and when a load is found you are expected to run this load because it is more than likely late! I would not recommend this company for anyone!!

yeah, i can only imagine what trucking around flint is like right now. even with the big pay cuts at ACC, i sure that they still have a stack of applications a foot tall. have any of you tried working for central over off 75? I can't imagine that they pay well, but they always have that banner out when i drive by.

I was just reading on another thread about how to quit. Well that is a big thing with Bell also. When I had enough of this place I quit. I took the truck back to the yard in Flint and then cleaned it out and everything. When it came time to get my money I never got my last pay check. They told me that I owed the company because of some damage to the trailer that I had hauled several weeks prior. That was about 13 months ago and I never got my last pay check.

yeah, i remember sitting up at bay city powertrain and seeing the junk backing in next to our superior junk from martin. bell had THE worst trucks i had ever seen, until i hauled rail containers.
